Nantong Xiangyu Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering signed a contract with Xiamen Financial Leasing and COSCO Shipping Bulk for the construction of eight methanol READY 64,000DWT bulk carriers.

At present Xiangyu SOE"s total order quantity of Ultramax vessels has exceeded 100, which is ranked the first among Chinese shipyards.

The eight 64,000DWT methanol READY vessels signed adopt new ship materials and technologies, and they are proposed to take methanol fuel as the clean fuel.
